Act like a lady, think like a man, .woman is thy loosed?

I think I might of mentioned, that I first got wind of the title of Steve Harvey's book, Act like a Lady, think like a man at one of my grandson's birthday party. The day before I had seen a line outside Border's at the mall. I rolled downed the window, and asked who was doing a book signing. Steve Harvey was the answer.

Steve Harvey?! Harvey's a comedian, what in the world could he had wrote about, that had such a long line, was my initial thought.

I would learn more about Harvey's book from my sister. It seemed her ex-husband was ranting and raving about the book. My sister eventually got the book and read it. I was distracted by Chris Brown and Rihanna. Still in the back of my mind was the title. Even going to the library, the Harvey book was being read by the librarian, as the book was on hold for one lucky person out of the 153 folks waiting to get their hands on the book.

What is it about this Harvey's book? The librarian repeated the same lines from the book that my sister on the phone, a man is beaten up by the outside world so when he comes home he wants to feel like a king.

Ok. So, I lean into the librarian and asks, what happens to the woman, who is out there battling the world at the same time that this man is getting home? No answer from the librarian, but a man close by chuckles.

I was tempted to get the book, but the librarian was still reading the book..

But, something was not right about Harvey, the comedian, writing a feel good book about how to hold onto your man that women and men were taking seriously!

I know you, you can't just judge a book by its cover, but what about a book's title? What man would seriously tell a woman to act like a lady and to think like a man. What did the title mean to women? So just when I decided to go check out the book at the library, (before I knew that there was 153 folks waiting for this one book), I get an email.

An email, I kid you not about Act like a lady, think like a man !!!!

A woman, Sharon Carson wrote a book in 2003 or 2004 titled, Act like a lady. think like a man. What a coincidence! Or is it? I have not read Sharon Carson's book nor Steve Harvey's book, but what are the odds?
