President Obama is always going to be my homie

I don't care want folks say in the Washington post about President Obama, the man is going to always be my homie. Rome was not built in a day and to even suggest that President Obama is the man who will undo the long historical legacy of slavery placed upon a people under his administration is unrealistic.

How often have we as a people stated that we as African-American have shared values but we are not one and the same. President Obama was elected to his position. And because he was elected, Obama inherited policies and laws that were in place long before he got there. Obama can not make these changes by himself

The message of change from President Obama is simple...people it is up to you. If you use you talents and willing to do the work you can do the same thing. Contrary to Tavis Smiley suggest that if Obama does not do well, it will take another 400 years to witness such an event.

Smiley is so blinded by Obama achievement, he can only point out that black folks are watching...yes black folks all over the world:

President Obama you are our homie!!!
