No Child Left Behind

Indiana educational system is in need of reform. Some republicans are ranting and raving about the success of NO Child Left Behind. Of course this has other republicans upset. Indiana adequate yearly progress has mixed reviews on it's own requirements for leaving NCLB under P.L. 221.

Here in Fort Wayne, Indiana funding is needed to improve the education of students rather than support buildings new segregated schools in the suburbs or rural areas nor charter schools in predominately African-American neighborhoods. Holding schools accountable for the students learning can only enable a more diverse body of students to be able to compete for higher educational opportunities. Too see how well Indiana's schools are doing or to file a complaint go to Indiana Department of Education website.
