RAin Rain Go Away

I am looking out the window, it is raining. The rain drops are heavy and reminds me of light snow. What I want to blog about today, is Obama, but I've not finished reading his book. I tell my daughter, that when folks have nothing to say, they will start talking about the weather.

I will go home and read. My daughter is coming home for a brief visit. She loves home, the friendliness of the people from Indiana. She will go to Indy to enjoy the Black Expo. She loves the way the folks celebrate, not sitting in chairs waiting to be entertained, but fully engaged.

My youngest served in active duty and remains in the reserves. She surprised me, she carries on the tradition of her father, her great uncles, her grandfather in service. I remember her niece saying to her, promise me you won't kill anybody.

How different the world would be if each and everyone made a promise to not kill anyone. We will celebrate that we are alive..how grateful I am when many have lost their loved one during a time of war.

No time for hate, and I will enjoy the peace in falling rain. Thanks for the picture Professor Zero.
