People-Raced White Men--Get Out the Way

Have you ever tried to get on an elevator and lots of folks are already on the things. Folks move and shift their bodies, right? No, not today, remember, I'm back in Fort Wayne, non accommodating raced white men.

If there is room even for you. IF you would just move, single raced white woman, startled that I would say such a thing..give me a break. I am not entering the thing to rob you not a one..not a single one moved.. Okay John Stafford had something on his foot, Deputy Mayor, Indiana Economic Development Man and the rest of the dumb hicks did not move, did not move !!! But that sure as h-ll did not keep me from getting on that elevator. Fort Wayne, Indiana Gentlemen, please remember your manners or polish up on your manners when a woman wants to enter the elevator!!!!!!

Did you ever think maybe, just maybe, it had nothing to do with your race and they can't stand your attitude? It is easy to see someone with a bad attitude on their face who is looking to make a stink.....Calling someone a "dumb hick" proves you are using racist terminology. The street runs both ways. Remember that you racist.

  2. How stupid can you be. Stand my attitude these men didn't see my attitude, they are saw my color. Dumb hick, backwards, does not prove I am a racist, you idiot.

Dumb hicks, men being backwards, you got it. Learn the meaning of what is a racist. I don't call a person a racist. Never....it is a racialist...do you understand that term.

Don't try to tell me who I am and how I am using the English language.

Standing waiting on an elevator had nothing to do with my attitude..you just want to justify the behavior of practicing racialists.

This post is old, but I wanted to response to your comment. Try to stay focus on the comment and not on trying to label me a racist.

It is obvious you don't know what a racist is...please do some reading about the subject before trying to pigeonhole folks.

If you know anything about my background, you would know that my family is made up of many different rainbow and I was never taught to hate.

But your silly comment on the word hick look it up, does not have anything to do with race but more to do with manners...just needed to be addressed. Silly Rabbit

I live in the deep south. Calling someone a hick here IS derogatory and generally used in a racial context in my area. It is an insulting term that has been used against me by "blacks" since I was a small child growing up in a poor "black" neighborhood. (labled "white" even though I am multi-racial and NOT "white")
I was offended by your insensitivity in that old article. I over reacted calling you a racist. Derogatory terms sting don't they? I appologize for the name calling. Please forgive me.

P.S. I don't move either when someone gets on the elevator regardless of what they look like. I stake out my floor space in that little box and stand my ground until I get to my floor. If someone wants to snuggle up to get in, that is fine, I'm not offended - but I sure as heck am not moving because they think they have the right push me out of the space I occupied first.

Thank you for visiting my spot. It does not sting to be called a racist, because I know the person calling the name has limited information.

What gets me is how quickly folks want to discount my experiences. If I say excuse me and you are sharing space please allow me not to get stuck in the door. If you mark your territory and not willing to share that's you, but it's just a short ride.

And thank you for sharing your background, I come from folks who were born in the south. However, name calling was not taught in the home. If you did it was your choice that was picked up from the street because it was not allowed.

I think when folks began the name calling it hides the person true feeling about race. Thanks again.
