Housing and Neighborhood Development Services, Inc Board of Directors held a meeting today at the City-County Building in the Omni Room. The Grant Administration staf was to present an overview of the Consolidated Annual Action Plan, the grants calendar and the HUD entitlement programs in oreder to prepare the Board for making recommendations to Fort Wayne, Indiana Mayor Graham Richards during subsequent meetings. Discussion would include the creation of a housing policy committe to facilitate the creation of a citywide housing policy as part of their 2007 Annual Action Plan.
Also, Metropolitan Human Relations Commission has been contracted to provide fair housing services for Fort Wayne, including the general public, housing partners, etc. Board members will be asked to participate in the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice and the Anti-Predatory Lending Campaign. I believe that the city is paying for this. Is there not a conflict of interest in this agreement or contract?
Staff was to provide reports included in the report was Renaissance Pointe.
