Nelson Peters is in as Allen County Republicans attempts to energize its base

The News-Sentinel reports that Nelson Peters will run for Mayor. Nelson will join Matthew Kelty in the primary race. Dr. Thomas Hayhurst does not appear interested in seeking the local office of Mayor. The Democrats will be hard pressed to find one well known personality to run against the two republicans.

Don't count him out yet. My sources say there is definite interest. But he needs to regroup after a tough campaign.
