Income Tax

The Governor has given cities time to apply for the income tax option. The income tax option is based on your income as a property relief. To further reduce your tax bill, an taxpayer will be able to reduce their property tax bill along with the homestead credit.

Or the income tax option can be used to raise revenue instead of increasing property tax for increases to the budget.


Or a combination of both of the first two if cities wanted to raise additional funds for public safety.
