The city must decide by the end of the year whether to exercise its $25,000 option and buy the land for North River project at $4.3 million reports the newspaper. If spending the taxpayers dollars for Harrison Square deal was not enough, the City has enough money left over from the kitty to buy more land. And they are over assessed to collect even more money from that taxpayers who did not complain.
Gianni Longo has been brought back to town to get input from the public on the new design for the North River Project. Longo does not know that the majority of the folks who participate in these meetings work for the Mayor or have an investment in the Project .
I happen to sit in on one of the meeting, and I spoke to only a handful of the citizens who were not being paid to be at these meetings. So much for public input, Mr. Longo.
"Longo does not know that the majority of the public is really folks who work for the Mayor or have an investment in the Project."
ReplyDeleteCredo- that is QUITE a conspiracy theory.
I really doubt that the MAJORITY OF THE PUBLIC work for the mayor or have an investment in this project.
