Believe it or not three teenage freshman girls caught dealing at their high school. Jeff Wiehe writes for the News-Sentinel:
"A gym teacher uncovered the scheme Thursday, police said, finding a bag belonging to one of the girls stuffed with razor blades, paper clips and plastic bags full of prescription drugs. On Friday, Assistant Principal Christi Thomas went to Officer Kevin J. Neher, the school's resource officer from the sheriff's department, with her suspicions"
Razor blades, paper clips and plastic bags full of presciptions drugs? Was this more like a call for help? The article reports:
"According to a police report written by Neher, the pair sold or attempted to sell the drugs to at least seven other students. One of the girls told police she got the pills from home and brought them to school. On Friday, she brought more than 30 morphine pills, 90 anxiety pills and a Vicodin pill to school."
There is a problem in somebody's home rather than a drug bust. Some kids do some stupids stuff when lacking the ability to just say no to negative influence. The article reports:
"One of their apparent customers, a 14-year-old girl, was arrested for drug possession after police found some of the pills she supposedly bought crushed into powder. She told police she had intended to snort the drugs but changed her mind and threw some away. Another suspected buyer, a boy, said he pretended to take a pill but actually flushed it down the toilet."
The wrong choice on a bad day.
