Condi gets Fort Wayne Council Person Glynn Hines in an uproar

Condi stated its not enough black diplomats. And now Ben Lanka from the Journal-Gazette reports on Council Person Glynn Hines extractions of more African-Americans for city administration positions from Mayor Tom Henry. Lanka could not have been reporting on Hines displeasure on the lack of African-Americans in key positions in City Administration. Because token employment of African-Americans has existed under Paul Helmke and his previous boss, former Mayor Graham Richard.

At least former Mayor Paul Helmke would speak to African-Americans, whereas Richard would rather cross over to the other side of the street. For example, it was under Richard's administration an attempt to dismantle the whole metropolitan human relation department. When Richard witnessed the outrage by the African-Americans, he avoided the crowd and went across the street to hang out with folks in the court house while African-Americans defended Metro in the city chambers...NOt knowing the proposal had been withdrawn!

And was it not the same Richard's administration who got the African-American community to bring all their legal documents concerning predatory housing practices and somehow the paperwork got lost? And nothing was done.

So it not news that Henry administration is lacking inclusiveness, I reported this same story on my blog:

"Let's see Tim Davies gone, his wife gone and now Mr. Clarke gone. Is this what the African-American voters of the City of Fort Wayne voted for when they elected Mayor Tom Henry?"

Is CouncilPerson Hines playing the race card to scare Mayor Henry into a compromising position?

Or is some of the "colored folks" in lower position feeling a little left out? Maybe just maybe it just might be curtains for some of them who lacked credentials but Richards loved their smarter than-hate black folks persona, just might be next on the chopping block after seeing what happened to Richards favored son, Clifford Clarke? Are they hoping that Councilperson Hines use of the race card will save their hindies?

If so, Hines should have played the race card under the Richards administration it would have been more believable. Inclusiveness means more than one or two token positions. So folks don't be scared..it's better losing a job than going to prison.

Besides I told you get your behinds on the ballot!!!

Fire!!!!!
