Volunteering-Making my way back to the D.C. Convention Center

I made it back to the D.C. Convention Center. I left my cellphone on my last volunteering tour of duty. This got me back to the room and provided me the opportunity to get a few pictures. How could I not say yes to volunteering on Sunday? I want to give out some packages. Tickets. Something.

I did get a chance to see the long line of media folks is on the far side of the building. I tried getting in on that side but of course I was turned away. I noticed some media folks had on badges. But I don't think that is what go them through security so quickly. No way was I getting pass security, and it was too cold to stand there for long, so I headed back over to the volunteer side of the building.

I am sure a photo will be required to get into the building when I return tomorrow. Folks with their cameras has hit the National Mall taking pictures. On Sunday at the Lincoln Memorial., folks will be bundled up for the concert of the century. Including the fact, that the President Love Train arrived in D.C. from the 137 mile trip from Philly and will be welcoming all the folks. On Monday, a day of rest as the nation will give honor to the king of them all ya, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in saluting the wishes of the President Elect Barack Obama. On Tuesday the Grand daddy of them all event, the swearing ceremony.

I am still trying to get tickets..this time I want a ticket to the swearing in ceremony and the neighborhood inaugural ball. In the meantime, I will have to content will volunteering doing something, I still don't know what, because nobody is saying anything about tickets availability.

I am still hoping....
