Taylor University gets Air time.

Taylor University was mentioned on the Today's show , by Matt Lauer, this morning. Whitney Cerak's story was profiled on the show, Mistaken Identity. I had just starting blogging. Crerak story is now being told in a book titled, Mistaken Identity. Crerak and her friend, Laura Van Ryne were involved in an accident. One survived one didn't.

The tragic of the accident does not end with the burying of the deceased. The lone survivor was in recovery, and had not spoken. It seems the identity of the survivor was blotted at the accident site. This test the faith of two families, one nurtured the survivor and one grieving the dead.

With the writing of one word, Whitney..both families are taken back to the accident scene all over again. The two family will share this turn of event with the television audience.

The families have made national appearances on NBC's "Today" and are to be interviewed in a special two-hour "Dateline" and on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
Correction it was a bus crash, and other died.

Taylor hopes to finish a memorial prayer chapel by April 26 -- the second anniversary of the crash. It will honor those who died: Van Ryn, of Caledonia; fellow students Bradley J. Larson, 22, of Elm Grove, Wis.; Elizabeth A. Smith, 22, of Mount Zion, Ill.; and Laurel E. Erb, 20, of St. Charles, Ill; and Taylor employee Monica Felver, 53, of Hartford City, Ind.
