Black in America2: Solution for stopping racial profiling

CNN Black in America2 has been on promoting its series scheduled to air on July 22 and July 23, 2009. But no one could have predicted that one of the leading problem in the African-American community, racial profiling would happen to BIA2 leaders. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. is arrested. Gates Jr., a Harvard University professor provides Soledad O'Brien Black in America2 the real deal. Gates, Jr." who was named one of Time magazine’s most influential Americans in 1997 and now directs the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research at Harvard..", was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Gates, Jr. attempted to forcefully enter his home after returning from a trip abroad from China. Unbeknownst to Gates, Jr. a 911 call was made alleging a breaking and entering at his home by two African-Americans males.

Once an officer arrived at the scene, what happened next depends on what was going on in the heads of both individuals, the police officer and the accused, a black man.

Gates, Jr. had to identify and prove his identity, although he was a Harvard Professor.

The police officer had to maintain his authority to detain a Harvard Professor allegedly being accused of breaking into his own home, who happen to be a black man.

Gates, Jr. with his first amendment rights did what most folks would do when his right to pursue happiness is interrupted, he expressed himself while complying with the police officer.

Police officer cleverly enticed the questioning and complying Gates, Jr out into the public sphere to continue his rant in the public sphere.

Gates, jr. no longer in the comfort of his home was arrested for disorderly conduct to silence that first amendment option found in the United States Constitution.

The whole story will never get a fair hearing and high profile Gates, Jr. case will get dismissed.

I just hoped that little boy who was denied the opportunity to swim in the pool in Philly does not hear or read about this anytime soon.
