Trecastagni, Italy

We traveled to Trescastgni to look at housing. I found the view of Mount Etna from the area more attractive than the housing. I was surprised at how close, we were to the volcano. But even more surprising is that there is housing even closer to Mount Etna.

One blogger reports recent earthquakes occurring at the largest volcano in
Europe.

A
swarm of earthquakes occurred at Mt Etna volcano on 19th December. More than 30 earthquakes occurred in the swarm, with the largest being magnitude 4.6 The swarm was located under the northwest side of the volcano.

The snow is beautiful to see on Mount Etna, but I am not feeling the beauty of the lava boiling at the top of this active volcano
