The Ward 8 Unity Coalition Voter Assurance Campaign (UCVAC) is working to educate at least 10,000 residents in the community on the new voting rules in Washington, DC. The new rules allow early voting and same day registration beginning August 30, 2010. The UCVAC is also mobilizing and providing transportation for voters in Ward 8 community to the early vote site at SoutheastTennis & Learning Center.

A team of volunteers will encourage voter registration, engagement, and educate the public on the early vote laws from the back of a Rolls Royce (White Phantom).
