Dark Knight/ Batman/ Kiddie Movies no more

Batman. The inferior to Superman. I read and watched quite a few episodes of Superman, not so much Batman. Batman appears more of a joke, he had a sidekick, called Robin. And had word clouds like bam, wham and pow!, I just could not take him serious. He did have a cool car, and I did watch a few episodes of the Television show, Batman, but not for long. So, when the Dark Knight Rises was release, I did not feel anything. The fact that it was a 2 hours and 44 minutes, was not encouraging for me to revisit, the Batman of old.
