Human Right Campaign

The Human Right Campaign reports President George Bush,passage of the Pension Protection Act signed into law on Aug. 17, 2006 certain provisions may support same sex partners economic situations. Individuals can now designate certain types of benefactors for their pension, and those individuals can roll over these amounts without being penalized, when the original owners dies.

This is huge for same-sex partners wishing to take care of loving ones, especially those who are critical ill. Of course, those GLBT who are desperately searching for a reason to continue supporting the Republicans, have given up on Republicans ever passing a bill supporting same-sex marriages.
