The weekend was spent on one of my favorite four letter word..REST.
I was able to kickback and enjoy some of my familiar signs of the coming of summer, besides the opening of the pools:
---the lack of computer access at the public library--school has let out and a new place of abode for the young is taking on the computers..and that's a good thing
--the number of fishing poles dangling in the Reservoir pool --the 10th annual Fishing Derby held by the Fishing Club is a sign of the opening of the parks for leisure time for those who forgot what the parks offer for families.
--the number of beautiful and unique motorcycles and cyclists traveling up Lafayette Street..a yearly event to signal to other drivers to watch out for the bikers on the road.
Forgot the Click It or Ticket Campaign for collecting more money from taxpayers. I know it's suppose to be able safety..just hope those visible signs are out there warning motorists that they will be entering a seatbelt Enforcement zone to avoid getting one of those hefty tickets.
The red and white signs attached to the sticks that lean in the yards of uncut weeds or grass.
Great site lots of usefull infomation here.
