Well it appears that the City of Fort Wayne can rally around helping some more families living in filth. That is if they are really concerned about such issues, after earlier learning about some children living in similiar conditions.
According to a report on Fort Wayne.Com, the newly elected Wayne township trustee was quite taken aback about the deplorable living condition for three families and staff. Richard Stevenson, found the families living in squalor-like conditions at an apartment complex in which the township was paying rent. In the words of a friend, "ain't that sad." But my response is, that's probable just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak.
Rick's a good man. I'm not surprised by his immediate action! I would follow him anywhere.
ReplyDeleteIt does not surprise me that Dick has stood up for folks that many snicker at. What surprises me is that democratic leadershipKevin is not in front of the camera applauding one of the few winners of the Dem party.
ReplyDeleteI mean the party has no problem chasing a police report.
Rick, I believe is requiring city officials to be accountable for folks beyond Wayne Township staff and Wayne township renters. I believe that Dick is requesting the city to step up and find that the building may not be up to code. And that would mean everyone would have to go. Code enforcement is saying someone from the apartment would have to complaint. give me a break.
My question, where is your Mayor?
