Three Fort Wayne men were arrested Monday after police made numerous buys of crack cocaine, police said.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, Julius J. Arrington, 19, of the 6800 block of South Calhoun Street; Rico J. Parrish, 21, of the 2500 block of Warsaw Street; and Theodore Suel, 52, of the 400 block of Colerick Street were arrested on drug charges and taken to the Allen County Lockup.
Police said all of the undercover drug buys were made in a roughly four-block area along East Suttenfield Street.
After receiving complaints from the neighborhood and other police officers, the department’s Vice and Narcotics Division began a lengthy investigation into the area, which they said is well known for street-corner dealing of crack cocaine.
Police are still looking for other people who were involved and expect to make future arrests, they said.
Arrington was charged with two counts of dealing cocaine and one count of dealing in a look-a-like substance and was being held at the lockup in lieu of $110,000 bail.
Parrish was charged with one count of dealing in a look-a-like substance and was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Suel was charged with two counts of dealing cocaine and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
