Obama rallying the people in Fort Wayne

Only hours away, Fort Wayne is in for a treat, Obama is in town to speak to the locl folks. My youngest sister called to tell me Obama was coming to town. I scream through the cellphone. I'm excited for her but somewhat disappointed that Obama is coming to my hometown and I'm not there. I will not be able to visually observe the crowd of folks who will come out to see him and they will. My daughter suggest I fly back home for the event, it's a thought.

But the reality of the matter is that I've already experienced Obamamania..in Virginia. Not only did I get on the floor to see Obama, but I attended another rally featuring Obama's wife Michelle. If there is any doubt about this couple having the right stuff you only have to enter the room to hear them speak.

Nevertheless, I'm excited about Obama coming to the Fort. I suggest that my sister get online quick to get tickets. Because I know there will be ticket to control the crowd that will turnout to see Obama. This information is relayed to another sister who calls the Obama Campaign Headquarter that confirms the information that I gave to the baby sister. My sister who goes online I walk through the process to register at Obama site to get tickets.

I tell her that she will have to sit on her email account, because the ticket information will come through the email and the tickets will go fast. I later get a call from the online sister who states she got the tickets and the tickets indeed went fast.

No surprise to me, tickets have gone fast in every location that Obama has appeared, it is the Obama Phenomenon! I call my sister today to find out if they left early and I'm told that they arrived at Wayne High School, where Obama will speak, after 8:30 a.m. and by 9:45 they were sitting in the bleachers. In the background, I can hear the excitement of the crowd building, excited for my sisters, other relatives and friends who will experience Obama up close and personal.

For now, all I can do now is wait..wait to hear my sisters response from witnessing an African-American who inspired them to get out of their chairs and attend a political event that will change their lives forever.
