Coach Dungy leaves the Colts

There is a report that Tony Dungy, Coach of the Indianapolis Colts will not be returning. The Colts will losing their winning coach. The announcement is to made later today. It is reported that Dungy wants to spend more time with a family program. Dungy has a historical coaching career.

Update:

5:05 p.m. Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay confirms coach Tony Dungy retirement from the team. Dungy took the Colts to the playoff 10-13 times. Bill Polian, Indianapolis Colt President was emotional about the retirement of Dungy. Polian, referred to the unwavering faithfulness of working with Dungy.

Dungy was emotional in expressing his thanks to those who were supportive of his career. First thanking his mom and dad for raising him on how to treat folks rights, him wife, family, and coaches and others who gave him an opportunity to be a head coach in Tampa.

Dungy thanks Irsay for giving him an opportunity to built the Colt's fans base and the Colts' family.


Dungy you're simply the best.
