Cherry Blossom Festival and Baltimore Harbor

While some folks (and you know who they are) were stressing over President Obama and First Lady Michelle embarrassing them in Europe this weekend. I was taking the low road to D.C. and Baltimore. I was not worried about the O man or his first lady.

Of course, First Lady Michelle won over the Queen of England. But I was dumbfounded at the number of folks ( and you know who I am talking about) who turned out to tour the Cherry Blossom in D.C. Few picked the darn blossoms and there were no cherries to be ate !!

So, I guess my daughter decided that if see so many folks turn out for Cherry buds, she would take me to the Baltimore Harbor to see ton of other folks just gawking at each other.

And once again, I was amazed at the number of folks who left their quaint little neighborhoods you to walk amongst strangers. Now, I see why Fort Wayne is betting on a hit of Harrison Square. Well, from what I saw in Washington, you better brings in some old buildings and some great history. And from Baltimore, you are going to need a nice waterfront with some real expensive water boats.
