•Declined to hear a citizen appeal from Jacqui Dowdell. Dowdell complained that an officer didn’t immediately provide her with his name and badge number while he was handling an incident at a library branch. The officer did provide the information, chairwoman Sharon Peters said.
The officer never provided his name. What I did was get the number from the vehicle he was driving, the time of the incident, and the area. Also, it helped that I had the Chief of Police telephone number in my cell phone and I called immediately to complain. I later filed a complain and was not called as a witness. So, I don't know where Chairwoman got her one sided information.
