Allen County Political Power- Reject Government Reform

A whistle blower is someone who reports wrongdoing. One famous whistle blower is
Erin Brockovich. Brockovich raised the issue of a California utility company contaminating water in its community. The company had to pay out millions of dollars.

The cost of losing ones job prevent many folks from blowing the whistle on misconduct by their employers. Although, their are laws to protect whistleblower, it is not enough to motivate workers to risk their jobs in the hope that justice will prevail. More than likely the potential whistle blower will be ostracized by it coworkers and labeled a troublemaker.

In a letter penned by Philip Pease, former Allen County IT Project Manager, he was
was administered the Code-Red beating and expelled from the unit
. Pease wrote in the letter dated February 28, 2010,
A defining characteristic of this practice entails the creation of a sub-climate where employees are sent a clear yet ever so subtle message that a long and fruitful career requires a ready willingness of otherwise motivated employees to ignore issues in favor of a mindless reverence towards the sanctity of political interests.

Pease was being nice. These are individuals who protect the small potato. The small potato has no power, but holds the fact that he or she can make it uncomfortable for those who don't toe the line or remain loyal even during times of wrongdoing. Pease suggests that these folks who don't blow the whistle are the risk takers. No, it is the ones who will not compromise, the ones who pen the letter while working in the establishment who are the real risk takers.whistle blowers.

Unfortunately, too many potential whistle blowers rolled the dice and decided that keeping quiet is more beneficial to their way of live than the public good. This is what the crooks are betting on and how they remain in their position.
