It was sad to see Lincoln Life Insurance Corporation move to Philadelphia. The Corporation built around the image of "Honest Abe" face upon the penny. Honest Abe being our former President Abraham Lincoln. Yes, Fort Wayne loved them some "Honest Abe", more so than our very own General Anthony Wayne. a museum named after a honest gentleman was probably preferable than one named after a madman, I would suspect as to why Fort Wayne named a museum after President Lincoln.
Plus, Indiana prides itself in being in favor of the abolishing slavery like President Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation but we know that is revisionist history.
But according to an article, the Lincoln Museum will be closing because of traffic. Does that mean traffic might be slow at the new baseball diamond that is going to be built downtown. Or does that mean former Lincoln Museum traffic will be diverted toward the new baseball park.
