I loved Whoopi in the Color Purple. I loved her in Jack Flash or something like that..but I was never a big fan. I loved her boldness in fighting the system on what it meant being a female and and sexy in America. Whoopi was right to tell the NAACP what she thought, but it just did not feel right. And I wondered a little about her going to bed with a sawed off shotgun. Now her and Sherri went and made Elisabeth cry over the right to use the N..Word.
I guess Michelle when she appeared on "the View" got to Elisabeth Hasselbeck, but not Whoopi or Sherri. Colored girls who talk raunchy probably don't have a problem with the N..Word especially since they are far removed from the everyday use of the word.
