Torii Hunter =The Audacity of Hope

Long before Senator Barack Obama began the 44th President of the United States, African-American males have been forging their path to success. Torii Hunter is one individual who fought such a battle. Hunter who briefly played for the Fort Wayne Wizard (now known as the Tincaps)in 1994 is a major League Baseball outfielder for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

No Obama election provided him the opportunity to success, just natural talent, hardwork, him and those who believed in his gift.

Hunter knows what it means to overcome adversity. Hunter knows what it means to lift has you climb but sometime the load must be lighten from time to time. Hunter understands success is who you are and not how many million you can singular count for yourself. Hunter may fully understands he alone can't save the world, but he can make a different in the lives of at least one two or even more individuals. Perhaps familial circumstances teaches him that everyone can't be saved but no one individual is disposable as he reaches for youth. Hunter probably remembers what it means to be a kid just wanting to be a kid.

Hunter recently visited the University of Pine Bluff Arkansas and delivered a check for $500,000. The check is to build a baseball stadium. Hunter does not need to be the President of the United States to impact the lives of other folks. Hunter doing it with his bat, balls and gloves.
