These Women are more powerful than Hillary

Hillary and Bill it tis a little scary, checking out the number of bodies that are falling out for Obama. Michelle, Carolyn, Maria (Oprah's neighbor) and Oprah on the same team is a force to be reckon with. It seems like Bill, (my soul brotha )playing the saxophone is just a little of the you can fool some of the people some of the times, but not all the people all the times.

I am a Man- Obama-$25 millions

CNN reports Senator Barack Obama raised $25 millions. Senator Obama campaign raised over $23,500,000 for the primary.

Go to Obama website for the breakdown of the numbers.

How fitting on this day, when many in the community will be honoring the legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to be able to celebrate Senator Obama fund raising abilities to run for the United State's presidency.

Dr. King, Jr. was shot in Memphis, Tennessee on the balcony of the Loraine Motel on April 4, 1968.

Let us not ask the question what would Dr. King, Jr. do if he was here today. Let's ask what will you do in remembering the legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. crusade for the right to be a full blooded American citizen? What will you do to change America? Senator Obama is doing his part to keep Dr. King, Jr. dream alive.

Obama08 Kick Off

I am hosting today March 31, 2007 an Obama Kick Off Campaign Party. As an independent, who runs for political office is an important issue for me. I am questioning leadership constantly on where is the inclusion part of your agenda? Where is the grassroots level of participation? And too often deeds did not meet words coming from the majority of these political leaders. Soundbites.

But today, I have hope. Hope in a individual who laid his application on the table and stated he was running for the nomination for President. It was Senator Barack Obama. I watched from afar. Obama is a Democrat and I am an Independent. In my heart, I believed Obama was a plant another Jesse Jackson. But I watched. I was seeking a change. But I never believed he would run.

I watched the courage of Obama. Obama was qualified but his skin color would be an issue in his bid. Oh people will say today the world is colorblind. But they are dreamers. I see color every day I wake up. And Obama caught my attention because of his skin color. But his qualifications is what kept me watching. And it happened I caught the Obama fever and I decided to do something.

Today, I will join other supporters. Supporters who have caught the Obama fever. I originally planned for a small group of 12. At first I did not think I would get the 12, a few dropped off ,but others soon joined. I reached my maximum, and soon began to receive phone calls with request from others wanting to join the group. I could not turn them down. After call this is what they call the Obama fever.

Those who can not attend my event, you can make a donation by going to my donation page found here. Change requires action. I dare you to donate and link this post in support of Obama. Those who are members of the afro-netizens, I dare you prove that we make a difference in the blogosphere, by donating to my fundraisers today. We talk the walk, but are unwilling to walk the walk. I have the audacity to believe that Obama can win with a blogosphere campaign. Please join me in supporting Obama08 today.

Polls for Cash

I am taking an informal poll. This will be a donation poll for Obama'08 campaign. You go here to donate. You do not give me a check, credit card number, cash, nothing. You just go to the website and give them your donation. I have set a goal of raising $1000.00. I believe the goal is reasonable, if not my donatation poll will prove that my other polls (listed in the sidebar) are incorrect. Help me in my polling.

Also, there will be numerous Obama community kickoff events scheduled for March 31. One community kickoff event for the Fort Wayne, Indiana Community will be small. So far 6 people have signed up. A conference room is scheduled for at least 12 people. This an informal and educational meeting planned for a total of 12 individuals.

Email dowdells@comcast.net for more information.

Mayor Richard you are not aligned..

Former NAACP president Bruce Gordon sent a memo to the NAACP National Board of Directors concerning its organization.

Gordon was obvious trying to get some communication going about the direction of the organization. Unfortunately, Gordon resigned from the organization.

Here in Fort Wayne Mayor Graham Richard will gather together some in the African-American Community to give directions to its members. The African-American community should give a thumbs down on the soundbites.

The community should take over the Democratic party and go in another direction. Barack Obama did it and he is one man! As former NAACP president Bruce Gordon told the NAACP:
I am willing to accept that our points of view regarding governance and strategic direction are in conflict. This is not about right or wrong…this is about difference. We can agree to disagree. We also could have found a way to blend the best of our respective points of view but in 19 months that did not happen
.

The African-American community should tell Mayor Richard, dang you had a much longer time to improve the African-American community. Moreover, Mayor Dick you can't stay in the room long enough with African-Americans to hear their respective points of view...you're definitely not aligned. Somebody needs to take him and Democratic party to task!

Running as a Woman for President in Selma Alabama

Senator Hillary Clinton is going to the Edmund Pettus Bridge in commemoration of the right to vote in Selma Alabama. The bridge that showed the world, the anonymity southern raced whites had toward African-Americans. John Lewis and others marching got a beat down, by Alabama state troopers. Lewis on the Early Morning Show stated, that on the highest point of the bridge, marchers found themselves facing a sea of blue, state troopers. Sheriff Jim Clark was instrumental in the movement to prevent African-American from registering to vote. Later, even the great Dr. Martin King, Jr. and fellow marchers were turned around and forbidden to cross the bridge. But King, Jr. eventually crossed the bridge, and Selma would be known as the landmark that changed America.

Senator Clinton attending such an emotional historical event sends a message to Senator Barack Obama that she ain't skeert. Yep, she is going to show Senator Obama she may not be black, but she is bringing along an authentic black man. Her husband, the one and only President Bill Clinton is gonna help her get the African-American vote. Now go tell that to your MaMa Obama! It's all about heart for the African-American vote. Or is it? No there is something else byeond loving Bill.

Perhaps after Senator Clinton crosses the bridge, Clinton may hear the echos of one of Dr. King, Jr. speeches, How Long, Not Long. It took hundreds of years for African-Americans to get the right to vote, with a constitution amendment in 1870. But many African-Americans were not allowed to vote until the passing of Voting Rights Act of 1965. When will an African-American male be qualified to sit in the President seat? How long, Not Long.
